Hello everybody! Welcome to October!! I love October because it ends with my favorite holiday, Halloween, and leads into November 4th, which is my birthday!! I also absolutely love this autumn time of year! I'm so excited for hay rides, corn mazes, pumpkin carving, and the ever beautiful fall leaf colors!!
So before we lead into October, here is my September in review, which is basically a small compilation of all the things I did during the month of September, with pictures!!!
So it rained a lot in the month of September in Logan. And elsewhere, I was so sad to hear about all the flooding and mud slides! I'm praying for everyone affected by it! But with it being the first big rain storm since we moved to Logan, we had tons of fun playing out in the rain. It was a blast! I love spending so much time with my husband!
So I bought these new rod curlers to try them out, you can read about that HERE. I did two things with them, curling and a sock-ish bun (because it wasn't a sock, it was a curler). I am still debating with how much I like these curlers. They tangle in my hair to easily and rip some of my hair out, but I do like the results. But I only really used them the beginning of the month, so I haven't fully figured them out. If you want a tutorial on either of the styles above, just leave a comment below!
Chris started soccer intramurals again!! If you've ever heard our love story, we met through intramurals. He was on my roommate's co-ed team and the rest, as they say, is history. So his first game was at 9:30 at night in the pouring rain, which is the reason for the poor quality photo. It's also the reason for this:
Honestly, that experience was so incredibly to me. She seriously went out of her way to keep me from getting wet in the rain. It's so incredible to have an experience like this and be able to see that there is still so much good in the world!! Honestly, Caitlin (or however you spell it), I cannot thank you enough!
Once upon a time it was Friday the 13th, and I had to give an oral book report in class. I was super nervous! My hands were shaking, I had prepared late the night before, and I had that awful fast/nervous speaking voice. My book was Inside Out: Strategies for Teaching Writing. It was over 300 pages long, I had about two week to read it, and (don't tell my professor or parents) I didn't read one page. I skimmed through the whole book, read all the chapter headings, looked online for summaries and reviews (which there were none) and I basically just made up my report. It went really well though and on the written section, I got an "A"! However, on the oral section, I accidentally called the book a novel, not even thinking about it. I knew by definition the book wasn't considered a "novel", but it was merely a slip of the tongue... but my teacher certainly didn't think so. She called me out on it right away: "A novel? Do you know what a novel is?" I was already incredibly nervous, but now I was incredibly embarrassed! "I know, I didn't mean to say that." I tried to cover up my mistake, but it was too late. She had chastised me in front of the class and my face turned red with embarrassment. And that is my Friday the 13th story.... and watching and smelling as my coworker cleaned throw up out of the garbage can, but that's a whole other issue.
First of all, I'm kind of upset at my dad for lifting up his hand and ruining the only good photo I have of my brother from this day. So football season began and I had the wonderful opportunity to drive for two hours in horrible dark rain to watch my old high school's football game... just for my brother performing at half time. The Alta High School Marching Band is new this year, and I'm so glad my brother is able to be on it for his senior year and doing something he loves. He did a fantastic job! I would show you pictures from when he was on the field (at Rio Tinto, which was pretty cool) but my sister took pictures and I recorded it. I might put the video up, but I don't have any pictures because my sister hasn't made them available to me yet. I had a great time watching my brother doing something he loves! He went to all my dance performances and I was very happy to go and support him too!
Speaking of my brother, this handsome boy turned 18 on the 18th! He is seriously one of my best friends in the whole world and I just love him so much!! I was really sad I couldn't be there to celebrate his birthday with him, but I got to over the phone!! While he was opening presents, my family had me on speaker phone so I could hear what was going on. After presents, we all sang to him before he blew out his amazing Darth Vader candle:
It was sad to not be there, but I got to be a part of his birthday anyways, so I was happy. Nick really is like my best friend and I just love him so much. Even if he did grow to be almost a foot taller than me, he will always be my little brother Nick!
And for any of my LDS peeps wondering, he is not going on a mission yet because he's still in school. He'll probably be putting his papers in next summer, which is totally crazy to me! He's too old! It still weirds me out that he can drive, it's even worse that he's a senior this year... stop growing up Nick!!
After two months of searching I finally found Impress, Press on Manicure. I have an official review HERE, but just know I absolutely loved it!! It looked so good and took less than five minutes. I love it!
I wasn't there, but my husband came home one Saturday with this monster fish!! It weighed about four pounds (our scale didn't work well with measuring the fish) was almost two feet long, and it tasted delicious!! It was super scary though, take a look at it's teeth:
(The eyes only look so scary because of my camera flash, but it really is a scary fish, and big) On the same day Chris also caught this fish:
Who wouldn't die. Honestly. He came home from fishing and we had somewhere to go so he stuck them all (there was a third fish too) in the sink and put them in water so they wouldn't start to rot and stink. The bass pictured above (which I apologize for the blood on the fish and my husband's hand...sorry!) started breathing again once we filled the sink with water, but he was upside down and bleeding so we didn't think much of it. Two hours later when we got back from our thing, we came home to find him still breathing. I then suffered though watching Chris and his friend Ben banging the fish's head on our sink to try and kill him as well as stabbing. I then also watched the entire gutting of all three fish, which was a very bloody and dramatic sight where we found half swallowed baby fish inside of them.
I think I learned from this experience that I never want to gut a fish. I also learned that my husband is a very good fisherman and a tough man who didn't flinch whatsoever while cutting open three fish. I also learned that I never want to see people hitting fish against my sink. Lastly I learned that when Chris guts a fish in my sink, he knows he is then required to clean the whole kitchen, and he did a wonderful job at that. And he did a wonderful job at cooking the big one the next day. It was super delicious. He is so talented!
Now onto the thing that kept us from those fish for two hours. I put on my Latin ballroom costume, did my hair in a fake bob, Chris put on a white shirt and tie, and we headed out to the USU Literary Ball!! This years theme was The Great Gatsby, which is one of my favorite books! We were late because we thought it was a seven, but it really started at six. We got to watch the last half of the new Great Gatsby movie (which we both love) and got to eat some pizza. They also had poker (which we didn't do) and dancing (which we did for like five seconds). I was sad because I had been looking forward to it so much, but I was sick with a sore throat, runny nose and extreme exhaustion. I just couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It was decorated beautifully and it was super exciting to see everyone from my English classes all dressed up like the 20's, but I was too sick to have fun. I wish I hadn't been sick. :(
Speaking of being sick, I was so incredibly miserable that my boss allowed me a day off of work. That is when I found the above video. I honestly have watched this video over thirty times, I'm so in love! It is the cutest thing that I have ever seen in my life. I know I shared it for a Web Video Wednesday post, but I just had to share it again. So cute!!
This is out of order from everything else, but I want to thank everyone again for loving this post as much as I do! I never thought that a single post would bring up my page views so quickly! I feel so incredibly blessed by all of you! If you liked this post, know that in October my husband and I will be doing a lot of things on this list, there are many fall related items, so please check back to read about our adventures in Cache Valley.
This month I wrote a pretty depressing post in my anger, and I do apologize for that, although the majority of it is true. I wrote about how I am currently friendless and really struggling with depression (which I've had my whole life anyways). I want you all to know that while I am still struggling, I do know that I have the greatest family in the world! My family are the greatest friends I could have ever asked for and I feel so blessed to have them with me for eternity. I love my new family as well, my three new brothers who are all serving missions and my amazing in-laws. My wonderful mother-in-law contacted me when she found out I was sick and gave me suggestions on how to get better faster. She is amazing and I love being the new addition to their family. I know I am blessed, so I do apologize for that post, I wasn't trying to say everything in my life is terrible. I was only saying I wish I had more friends. Sorry for the confusion.
This month we celebrated four months of being together! I feel so unbelievably blessed to be married to this sweet, wonderful, sexy man. He takes care of me when I'm sick and even when I'm just lazy. He cleans our apartment when I'm away. He cooks me meal and makes me brownies. He constantly tells me how beautiful I am even when I don't feel it. I love him more than anything in the world and I am so happy that he is mine for eternity! Our life together is perfect.
Well, that's my September! I hope you all had a fantastic September and are as excited for October as I am! Thanks for reading!!

I've been ruining this blog trying to get everyone else to like it and make it interesting for others, but I forgot what I started it for, for me, to tell my story. So things are changing around here and I hope you like it, but if not, this blog is for me to express myself, so I don't really care that much what others think.
I absolutely adore the quote above!! All the time I say, "I don't have to dress nice or do my hair today, nothing special is going to happen" but I'm completely wrong! Everyday is a special occasion!! I can't keep putting off my best outfits for another day, everyday can be important.
This also relates to happiness. I tend to put happiness into the future. I tell myself "I'm too busy with school and work to be happy today" but I've never been so stupid in my life! My elementary education teacher keeps telling us, "Don't wait to be happy" and I nodded along and said "Yeah, that's a good way to look at things" but I didn't live it. Well things are changing. I am choosing to be happy now. I am choosing to take every opportunity and make it something special and important.
I love my crazy life! I love my husband more than anything in the world! I love my job. While I hate to admit it, I really do love school, no matter how hard it is sometimes. I am so blessed with the greatest family and the greatest in-laws in the entire world! I have been given so many wonderful opportunities and blessing in the past two years since meeting my husband and I've been taking it all for granted!
I am so blessed. And it's time I start acting like it. Everyday you're alive is a special occasion. Don't wait to be happy, be happy now.
It's the weekend!! Is everyone having a good Saturday? I don't know if I am yet. I haven't done anything exciting today yet.
We're getting all our laundry done and doing a lot of cleaning around the house, which is super important because things were getting a little to messy for my liking. We have a lot of laundry!! Lots of clothes, towels, and we have to wash our bedding. But it's good to be getting all this done on the weekend, because during the week the two of us are super busy with school and work.
So we eat out way too much, especially considering we're short on money, and both of us want to lose weight, so we're making a dinner meal plan for the week! This is difficult for us because I work 5 to 9 and Chris works nights too, so we'd either have to eat dinner together at 4:00 or 9:00. I can't decide which is better. But the main goal is to have a set meal so we don't end up just eating out. Once we get it going I'll write a post all about it to tell ya'll if it worked for us.
I have a math tutor now. I am required to retake Math 1050 in order to graduate, because last time I got a D and that's not good enough to pass. I'm awful at math! I also have to study for the Praxis Exam in order to get into the elementary education program, but while taking a practice exam, I realized that I don't even remember basic multiplication. This is a major problem. So my good friend Kyle is majoring in math and has decided to help me out. In exchange I'm going to babysit his adorable little baby sometimes. I like this arrangement and hopefully I'll remember the math I've already learned, and get better for my future math classes.
Is anyone else super excited for General Conference next weekend? I am! I love hearing from the leaders of the church from the comforts of my own home. It also mean German pancakes!! ...that's the tradition in my family. My sister wants to drive up next week to watch conference with us and see our apartment, which she hasn't seen yet. I love my sister so I really hope she follows through with this!! I will also be making a General Conference Bingo for all my followers, so stay posted!
Charity of the Month starts in a few days! Are you excited? It will be a struggle sometimes, but I honestly feel that giving to charity is always worth it! Basically I pick a charity every month, talk about it, donate a minimum amount (which will raise when I am more financially stable), and encourage all my readers to donate as well. Things about this segment will change as it goes on, but for now I'm keeping it simple. I don't know if people will donate or if it will make much of a difference, but it's worth trying.
Fall is here!! I don't know about you, but it's getting really cold here in Logan! I sat outside for Chris's soccer game on Thursday, shivering the whole time! All I really wanted was hot chocolate, and I have a good hot chocolate maker, I just don't have any hot chocolate mix. It's a shame really. But we'll get some soon and then we'll be prepared for these awful Logan winters. Honestly, winter in my least favorite part of living in Logan. It just gets too dang cold! Also, somewhere between moving from my parent's house to our new apartment, I lost all my gloves and hats that were in a bag together. I'm super angry and I hope they turn up somewhere soon.
Speaking of fall, Chris and I have a lot of fun plans for the month of October. Many of which are on The Cache Valley Checklist. So if you're living in Cache Valley, be sure to check that out. Also, we'd love new friends to do these activities with! If you'd like to join us, just leave a comment or send me an email and we can make plans together. I promise we're a super fun couple and we aren't creepers. Just normal college students. :)
I'm very disappointed in myself for forgetting how much I love The Civil Wars. Last year I was listening to them all the time and for some strange reason I just forgot how wonderful they are! But I was listening to my Civil Wars Pandora station and found this song and I'm in love. It's slow, it's relaxing, it's so beautiful and I'm happy to make it the song of the week!
On my first day back at my job I was sitting in The Marketplace, drinking my Minute Maid Lemonade and sucking on the ice cubes, when a girl walks past the window. I honestly did a double take (this makes it sound like a love story, but I'm happily married and I swear this is not) because this girl looked exactly like this:
Short dark hair with bangs, tan skin, pink shirt, orange shorts, white tennis shoes, a backpack... okay, I'm pretty sure her backpack didn't talk, but honestly she reminded me exactly of Dora! I even think her stomach was showing a little! She ended up walking by that window about three times, and the night manager told me later that she was new here and very lost, which is very unlike Dora, because Dora always knows where she's going.
Since seeing this girl the first time, I have seen her at least three times a week. Honestly! She's always in the student center while I'm working, she was at the Great Gastby thing I went to, and I just saw her outside running.
I don't know if this is a sign that I need to become friends with this girl because obviously, our schedules are similar, and I actually really like Dora the Explorer, because I'm a future first grade teacher and I'm pretty much still a kid inside. However, I don't know of any way to introduce myself without being creepy...
"Hi, I'm Kaylee, I've seen you around a lot." Creepy.
"Hi, I'm Kaylee, so I see you eat in the Marketplace a lot." Creepy, and also has the potential to say she's fat (which she's not).
"Hi, I'm Kaylee, I saw you running in the glow-in-the-dark 5k." Creepy because it was at night and I wasn't even running in it.
"Hi, I'm Kaylee, and I see you everywhere, we should be friends." Super creepy.
"Hi, I'm Kaylee, I can't help but notice you look like a beloved children's character." Weird.
Honestly, I've always been addicted to popcorn, but this month I've had a ridiculous amount. I LOVE POPCORN!! The other day at work, they were showing Space Jam (because why wouldn't we show Space Jam at a college student center?) and they had this table with bags of popcorn and cans of soda. I (very sneakily) stole three of those bags. I'm so addicted...
FAVORITE TV SHOW: How I Met Your Mother
I've always been in love with HIMYM! But just this month did my husband and I start catching up on the eighth season. I just love it so much and I'm happy to be watching it again.
FAVORITE MOVIE: Star Wars
Chris and I had a Star Wars movie marathon this month and I was reminded just how much I love these movies!! All six of them!! But this time particularly I enjoyed episode 3. It's just so sad but so good... even if some of the acting is silly. I also learned this month that my coworker has never seen Star Wars and I was shocked! So if you've never seen Star Wars, you really need to!!
FAVORITE SONG: Roar
I wish I could say it was a different song... like Atlas or Almost is Never Enough, because I listened to both of those a lot this month too. However, Roar is just so empowering and it's been fantastically guiding me to be more confident. So I have to give it credit for that.
FAVORITE WEB VIDEO: Tonight You Belong to Me
I have watched this video so many times this week! I am so in love with how adorable it it! I just love it so much!! I don't have much more to say about it except that I love it. Again.
This has always been a favorite. It's the blog I wish mine could be. However, this month particularly I loved this post because it's so simple, cute, and silly. She's a fantastic writer, super funny, and she always comments back on your comments, making you feel important. She also is currently home schooling her daughter in first grade, and as a future first grade teacher, she's a great help to me. Check it out!
FAVORITE PRODUCT: Got2B Beach Trippin'
I love my sleep so I don't always have the time in the mornings to do much to my hair. This product is amazing at giving my hair a natural wave/curl kind of look that is super simple and fast. I just spray and scrunch. I've been using this all month and even though the bottle looks small, I haven't run out yet, not even close. So it last a while too. This isn't an official review, but I do love this product.
FAVORITE/MOST POPULAR POST: The Cache Valley Checklist
You guys are incredible to be supportive of this post! I absolutely loved writing it and I cannot wait to complete all the items on this checklist and would love for you to all check back and read about my adventures!
FAVORITE EVENT: Real Salt Lake
I'm cheating on this one because it was actually in August, however, it was after I wrote my August Favorites post, so I'm squeezing it in here. I don't know if you can tell, but in the top picture, that's Ty Burrell from Modern Family. Yep, he was at the Real Salt Lake game! It was a great game! Chris and I absolutely love Real games because they are just so much fun!!
I'll redeem myself by also adding a September event:
I wanted this so badly to be my favorite, but I was sick and miserable. The above picture is from The Great Gatsby Literary Ball held on the USU campus. It was such a cool event! There was dancing, poker, food, and they played the new Great Gatsby movie. We mainly just watched the movie because I felt so sick. I hate being sick. I was wearing a Latin ballroom costume that works as a 20's flapper girl dress, I also gave myself a fake bob with my hair (that Chris really loved and now he wants me to cut my hair, not happening). I had been really looking forward to this event, and I did have a good time, but it wasn't as fun as I had hoped because a) I was sick and b) I didn't have any friends there to hang out with, just my husband. It would have been more fun if we had been in a little group. Oh well though.
These are all my September Favorites! Leave a comment if you like these posts or have any suggestions for me. Thanks for reading!
Don't forget to enter my giveaway before October 6th!
What?? It's Wednesday already? Being sick and missing a day of work really messed up my schedule. I'm so confused!!
Okay, in the course of one day I watched this video like twenty times because it is SO DANG ADORABLE!!! I cannot even get over how cute this video is!! And it just makes me beyond happy to watch and listen to! This man, is an incredible father to play a pink ukulele and be so patient and kind while singing with his daughter. Bravo to you! I love this video! I know what to do now if I'm ever upset, watch this video, because it honestly puts a smile on my face. :)
When I was getting married I went to a salon to get my nails done. The woman who did my nails was great and kind and she was super excited that I was getting married that week. I got acrylic French tips with a sparkly white, similar to what's pictured above. I absolutely loved my nails! However, the process took about an hour and it cost almost $50. So while I loved the result, I didn't like the process.
There also came a point when my own nails kept growing out, but my acrylics weren't coming off.
They were too long and getting very annoying. So I looked up ways to remove them and finally got them off, but with damage to my nails and a little pain. I loved the way they had look, but I felt they had ruined my nails.
Three months had passed and I really wanted my nails done again, I had loved the look and feel of having them done but I didn't want to damage my nails again. So while watching one of my favorite Youtubers, Meghan Rosette, she mentioned ImPress in one of her videos. After listening to her explanation and her personal review, I knew I had to try it.
The Result:
The ImPress Press on Manicure cost me about $8.00 and took less than five minutes for me to put on. It was the easiest thing in the world! I absolutely loved the result! This product was absolutely perfect for me! I loved the way it looked as well as the way it felt. My professional manicure felt like an added weight to my nails, but with ImPress, they are incredibly lightweight and you barely notice you're wearing them! But it looks just as professional and almost natural. Taking it off was also incredibly simple, painless and didn't show any signs of damage to my nail. It was wonderful!
Cons:
I lost two nails three days later, however, I lost it at work and I am a custodian and have to use my hands a lot. I had a suspicion that I wouldn't be able to keep the nails for a full week just because of my job, and I was right. I do feel that if I had a professional manicure, it might have made it through my job, but it would have made my job difficult.
Final Review:
I loved this product! Yes it only lasted three days for me, but I blame my job. I'm certain it would have lasted a full week otherwise. I also find this product worth the cost. It comes with 24 different press on nails, so if you lose one, you can add another, or after a week you remove the first set, you can put on another. You get two sets of nails for only $8. I absolutely love that deal! The fact that it's incredibly easy to put on it the icing on the cake.
Think about it, you have a last minute event to go to and you have to look dressy, what do you do? Run to Walgreens, buy ImPress Press on Manicure, put it on in less than five minutes and you'll look much more professional and elegant. I would definitely buy this again (when I don't have the job that I do and can make it last longer). I recommend this product to anyone who wants a cheaper and super easy manicure in minutes.
I basically love everything about this outfit. Lately I'm a huge fan of TOMS (but not really because all of mine are off-brand TOMS, but basically the same thing) and I have always been a huge fan of just casual jeans. And I love gray. It's like this was made for me.
Chili's Queso. When I click on the pin, the link doesn't work. But here's what the caption on the pin says: 1 can of Hormel chili- No beans 16-ounce box Velveeta Cheese 1 C. milk 2 teaspoons paprika ½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper 4 tsp. chili powder 1 tablespoon lime juice ½ tsp. ground cumin.
Hopefully that's all it is!
It's a little known secret that I love making wreaths, most people don't know because I've only made like two, due to lack of money. This one is super cute and I definitely want to try making one like it.
Alright, so this pin takes you to this website: StackDeals where you can find tons of discounts on so many different products and stores. This is seriously one of the greatest things I've ever pinned.
Halloween movies!!! I am getting so excited for Halloween!!! It's one of my favorite holidays for sure! The kid I work with is more excited for Christmas and keeps listening to Christmas music at work. I absolutely think he's crazy. If you have a favorite Halloween movie, leave a comment below. I'm gathering a list of all the good spooky/Halloween movies for a blog post!
This ugly old used book store I used to work in is going out of business (Books of Yesterday) so they are trying to sell all their books, and they literally have thousands!! I need something above our bed and I was thinking of doing something similar to this, so we'll be making a stop at Books of Yesterday. If you are in Cache Valley and have never been there, you really should before they close. It's impossible to have them help you find what you want, but if you look around long enough, you can find some really good stuff!
I'm always looking for new books for my Book Club and, oh wow, I'm also in my 20s! I love reading though so I'm always looking for more books to read. This pin takes you to this Buzzfeed page, which as of lately, I'm a huge fan of Buzzfeed. (To the Reader: You are always welcome to join my book club! There is no commitment and it's just for fun!)
I just love everything about this picture and don't have much else to say about it.
I 100% know I'm addicted to friends... and I love it.
I really like this outfit. The skirt is so cute and totally want one!
More Friends... see? Addicted. :)
Last Sunday I watched the Miss America pageant and I really wanted this girl to win. Miss Kansas was just so real, and who better to be Miss America, and a face for our country, than a real woman who serves in the US Army? I was sad she didn't win. But congratulations Miss New York! She broke down barriers with her win too.
As the picture suggests, this is the end of my post today. But seriously, that lobster is HUGE!! Imagine being in the ocean and seeing that thing coming towards you! Freaky!!
Thanks for reading! Don't forget to enter my GIVEAWAY!!
I haven't never liked Katy Perry that much, but this song is so empowering and just fun and I really enjoy it. Don't forget to enter my current Giveaway by CLICKING HERE!!
So anyone looking regularly at my Book Club page may have seen that this month's book, Beautiful Creatures, has been extended through another month. There are three reasons for this:
I was unaware at how long the book was beforehand
I didn't realize how ridiculously busy my schedule would be once I started school, and...
I think this book has a wonderfully creepy/dark sort of undertone that will be great for October and the Halloween season. So I don't regret leaving this book for another month.
So while I am not very far in the book (I honestly have no time to read for fun anymore) I am still posting the discussion post today for those of you who are on time. Congratulations to you! Try not to give away too much to me.
If you haven't started reading yet, there is always enough time to start! And what better way to start than by winning your very own copy of Beautiful Creatures to read!!!
I'm finally doing a giveaway on my blog and I figured the best way to start it out would be with my Book Club book. Here are the rules to this giveaway:
It is mandatory to like my Facebook page (found HERE) in order to enter; this is good for 3 entries into the giveaway.
You can gain more entries by following me on Twitter, tweeting about the giveaway, and commenting on one of my blog posts.
You may tweet about the giveaway everyday to gain more entries.
This giveaway is only available to persons living in the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii (I'm so sorry!!)
This giveaway goes from September 20th through October 6th, the winner will be notified during the week the contest ends and the book will be sent out by the end of that week through Barnes and Noble.
I want to thank everyone that voted on the giveaway prize, it was great to see what ya'll were most interested in. The book was actually tied with a gift card, so that will be for my next giveaway (I'm hoping to do one about every other month, so stay tuned!)
Anyways, back to the main reason for this post, please leave comments below discussing what you thought of the book Beautiful Creatures. Once I'm finished, I'll join in the conversation and maybe post a few questions for everyone as well. You can also join the book discussion on Good Reads if you have an account through them (this is a free app and website and a great way to find new books to read if you want to join). Don't forget to tweet about the book as well with #dancingcowbookclub.
Also, if you're behind and just finished last month's book, The Fame Game, you can join that discussion HERE. I'm more than happy to continue that discussion with you!
If you have questions you'd like to add to the discussion, please leave a comment.
Thanks everyone for joining my club!!
Discussion Questions:
If you've seen the movie as well, what do you feel about the director's interpretation of the book put on screen? Was there anything they left out? Anything you would have loved to see differently?
(more questions will be added when I'm finished)
(Discussion questions are completely optional, there are just added to get you brainstorming)
So I don't have anything exciting to write today. I have a lot of homework I need to focus on and I have quite a bit of reading to get done (for school and for my Book Club) so this post is going to be short and basically about nothing. You can stop reading now if you'd like.
On September 7th I celebrated reaching 20,000 page views and I was so happy. Unbelievably happy!! It felt like such an amazing accomplishment for me and I was so proud of myself, and I was so happy that people, like you, enjoyed reading my blog!!

I have been using this product for almost four weeks. I have always had horrible dark circles under my eyes no matter how much sleep I get or if I am super healthy and eating right, I still always have dark circles. It's just a part of who I am. So I heard wonderful reviews on this product by other girls who claim to have horrible dark circles (but I've seen them without makeup so I don't particularly agree that they do). Since I didn't have another product that was working well for me, I decided to try it out.
The Result:
I love this product!! It blends in perfectly with my skin and give my under-eyes a much brighter appearance. It covers my dark circles wonderfully and lasts for the whole day! I love the application process as well! It has a little sponge type thing that the product goes onto and you just brush it on. It works fantastically!
Cons:
It took me FOREVER to get the product to come out onto the sponge thing. I seriously messed around with it for almost three days before it started to work consistently. But now that it works, it works well. It's just frustrating that it was such a hassle in the beginning.
I don't think that this product works well with under-eye puffiness. I get dark and puffy under-eyes, and this covers the darkness, but does nothing for the puffiness. I do however have a great product for the puffiness, if you'd like a review on that, leave a comment below!
It does have a more greasy appearance. So I went on a one day trip to my parents house and I didn't take any other foundation, just this to fix up some spots. I used it on my under-eyes and then some in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). The result made my face look greasy! While this product looks fine just under the eyes, I do not recommend it for the rest of your face. Just stick to it's main purpose.
My Review:
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone struggling with dark under-eyes. It is such an easy application process and has fantastic coverage that is long lasting. This is a product I would definitely buy again.
