Blue and White Stripes

I will be the first to say these are not good pictures. So I apologize for that. Tomorrow is the 4th of July which is one of my most favorite holidays. I'm a pretty patriotic person, I mean, the Star Spangled Banner is one of my favorite songs and often makes me cry. Firework shows sometimes make me cry too. Maybe I cry too much or maybe I just love America.

The following dress is from Old Navy which is currently one of my favorite stores. In fact, both the shirts Chris and I will be wearing tomorrow for the fourth are from Old Navy. This is a favorite dress of mine. If you follow me on Instagram you've seen it before, but this is the first time I've put it up on here. It's semi-patriotic with the blue and white strips and if I was specifically wearing this for the fourth, I would probably pair it with my red shoes and belt.

A Wonderful Day

Chris was attacking me with the camera during this shoot. The last photo was one of the many awkward close ups he had of me laughing, trying to get him out of my face. I love him. 

Today is a wonderful day for the Farnes family because Chris's brother Kellin gets home from his mission today!!! I believe I mentioned two weeks ago Devin got back from his, and two Novembers ago Sheldon got back from his. Now I met Sheldon before his mission very briefly, but today marks the first time I will ever see Chris with all his brothers at the same time, and that's huge!! I've know Chris for almost four years so for this to be the first time is kind of crazy! 

I love all of Chris's brothers and I'm so excited to have them all here! Chris has been freaking out all week, so anxious to have them all to fish with and play soccer with. Today is basically just wonderful. 

This is a new shirt from Rue 21. I love Rue 21 because you can get great shirts on major clearance. I'm never really been one to spend lots of money on clothes (all my pants are from Walmart) but just because I like things cheap doesn't mean I can't have style. People overpay for clothes a lot in my opinion. You just have to know where to look for the cheap stuff. Also, I know I feature these shoes a lot but I'm literally obsessed, I've worn them every day this week. I need another pair of black booties so I can switch it up a bit though...

A Quick Message of Love

So internet friends, this is hard for me to say... but I've been struggling a lot lately. As the majority of you know, I do suffer from depression and lately it's really been hitting me hard. Chris has been a huge help, like he always is, but some days it's just so difficult to think positively and believe I can get through it all.

But I wanted to say something to all my readers, family, friends, and random people of the world who happen upon my blog...

YOU ARE LOVED.

Life sucks. And it will always suck. But even though I may not know you, I KNOW that there is someone out there who loves you and supports you and will never EVER give up on you. 

I've always had a great support system with my family, but it took me a while to realize that they could help. You may feel alone sometimes as you're going through life, but you never really are. Someone out there loves you. God loves you. Family loves you. Coworkers love you. Roommates love you. Neighbors love you. Even strangers love you sometimes when you show them kindness! 

Never give up on yourself because you are loved. If you don't believe me, remember that I love you and I'll always be here for you if you want someone to talk to. I've been there, I've been through hell and back, and if you feel like you're stuck in your pit and can't make it out please find one of those people who loves you, me included, and tell them and they can help you ease your burden. 

I'll always be here for my readers, because you give me life. Writing saves me and the people who read my writing bless me more than they'll ever know. You have always been a part of my support group, and I will always, ALWAYS, be a part of yours.

 Don't give up. You are loved.
