My Breakfast Dress

I had the plan to curl my hair and leave it all down, but then we were late to church so it was slightly curled, slightly still wet from my shower, and I just pulled half of it back. So please just ignore my hair in this picture because I wasn't a fan.

I shared this dress earlier this week in a different post. This little white dress was one of the three white dresses I wore on my wedding day, and I am so in love with this dress!! I wore it to the family breakfast the day of the wedding, so to me this dress is always known as "My Breakfast Dress".

I wanted to make it a bit more casual though so I paired it with my chambray shirt. When I told my husband my idea for this outfit he doubted it, but when he saw it he thought it looked great. He doesn't have much fashion sense apparently. Ha ha. But I love him anyways!

Oh! One more thing, Chris insisted on the location. We live next to this gym that's supposed to be the "gym of the future" and all high-tech and everything, but we never see anyone there. Anyways, they have these weird light-up palm trees. Which is what I'm standing next to in the first picture. Someday I'll show you a real picture of the palm trees, because it's just a weird thing.

The Concept of Time

No, this is not a lesson on how time works or anything like that. This week went by super slow! However, I am in shock that we are almost halfway through October! Can you believe it's only two and a half months till 2014??? I sure can't. Everything about this semester went by super fast, I'm already halfway done with the semester, and it's all been going by so fast... except for this past week. And this past week was ridiculously boring and long. I wish it would have been super fast like the rest of them.

Black Nails

My Nana hates when I paint my nails black, but it's October/Halloween time and I LOVE IT!! I am never a fan of painting my nails unless it's black. Black is my favorite color (even though everyone tells me it's not a real color) and I just feel like myself when I paint my nails black. So I did it, I'm super happy. I wish my laptop webcam was better so the picture looked better (and just my laptop in general, because it's really struggling lately).

Halloween Under $10

I'm in the works of a post about how my husband and I are decorating our apartment for Halloween for less than $10. We are very poor and just can't afford holiday decorations, but Halloween is my favorite holiday so I couldn't resist! I'm super excited about this post because it really worked! Halloween under ten bucks and it doesn't look half bad! Stay tuned to learn about how we did it! :)

General Conference

This past weekend was the LDS General Conference and I absolutely loved it!! I think this was the first time that I was able to watch all four sessions and I learned so much and really felt the spirit!  I also followed #ldsconf on Twitter during the sessions and read what other people thought. It was fantastic! I did a ton of Tweets as well, be sure to check those out! My sister also slept over so it was a great weekend.

Five Months

Five months ago today I was married for time and all eternity to the love of my life! It was the greatest day of my life and I can't believe it's been five months already! It's almost half a year! We aren't doing anything to celebrate because we're broke... but we do have cake mixes, maybe we'll make a cake. :)

Fashion Friday: What I Want

So I don't have anything too exciting for this week's post, however, tonight and tomorrow I will be a bridesmaid for my best friend's wedding and have some pretty awesome outfits I'll be wearing! So for next week I'll show off all of those and also during the week I'll talk about the wedding.

I have known Lauren for what feels like my whole life, we didn't get along at first (she was very bossy and I was an extremely shy child who couldn't stand up for herself (I still can't sometimes)) but we ended up building a friendship that was so strong and so wonderful in every way. I absolutely adore Lauren and am so excited to be apart of her big day!

Lauren and Trevor, I am so so happy for the two of you!! You will love married life, it's so much fun! I love you both so much and am so happy to be there for you this weekend!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! 

Back to Fashion Friday... today I don't have anything good for you so I'm just going to show off some of my favorite Pinterest outfits that I want to buy. You can find all these images and more on my Pinterest page, found HERE. 

I'm a huge fan of this maxi skirt faze that's going on. I have two, but I really want more. I love the one above because it looks all flow-y and I love the color. I also love these shoes. 

I am so in love with this outfit. Everything about it. The shirt is so adorable and the pants and I love the bold shoe. It's just perfect. 

I really really really want these boots!! So so much!! 

I think this shirt is super cute! It would be so much fun to have. 

I love everything about this picture. Except the pearls, I'm not a pearl kind of girl. 

I love this so much and I wish that I had a skirt like this to wear to the wedding. I honestly don't know what to wear! I'm kind of freaking out!!

ONE MORE MONTH!!!

Only one more month till our amazingly perfect wedding!!! And it's crunch time getting everything ready! We just got our apartment though and we're both very happy and excited for that! Now it's getting the invitations done and sent out! But there is still so much more to do!!! If you haven't given us your address yet... you better do it now or you're out of luck!

Our Wedding!!

37 days till our wedding!! We are getting super excited! All the big stuff is ready; the venue, the cake, the dress, the tuxes, the invitations, etc.

Our cake is going to be super delicious, so be prepared for that (ironically, my new lotion I bought to help me look tanner for my wedding, smells like our wedding cake...).

The venue is gorgeous! I'm so in love with it! It has the most beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the lighting in there is fabulous. It's such a pretty place and everything will be perfect in there!

Chris is going to be looking very sexy at our wedding. My dress is the most dress in the world! I'm so in love with it! I just dropped it off at the seamstress so it can get sleeves added to it. I'm a little worried about my dress in that place though. It's not a very clean place. And it's small. My dress is rather large and so I'm a little worried. But I know she'll do a great job on the sewing.

The flowers we're ordering tonight! They will be so beautiful! I love anemones! They are gorgeous! My bouquet will be wonderful, so long as we figure out how to make a bouquet.

All our engagement pictures are done, but we haven't gotten the second round back yet. So we can't get our invitations completely finished. But it's designed, we just have to put the pictures in the design. They will look really good and I'm so excited we can send them out soon!!

I hope you're all so excited for our wedding!! If you haven't given me your address yet and you want an invitation, I really need it! Thanks everyone for your love and support! I can't wait to see you at our wedding in 37 days!! :)

100 Days

It's 100 days till our wedding! I am so super excited and happy! Even though we still have so much to do everything will be perfect because I'm marrying my best friend... and the most amazing person in the world. :)

I'm just so happy! I can't wait! And I hope that all my friends and family are happy as well to share the excitement of that day with us!
