Death of a Salesman

Yesterday I went to a play with my parents. Just me and my parents. It was fun. It was Death of a Salesman, which I've read like four or five times in high school and college classes, but I've never seen it done live before. I LOVED IT!! It got me excited to teach high school English and be able to teach about Arthur Miller's wonderful play! :)

If you want to see it, it's being shown at The Grand Theatre in Salt Lake City on the SLCC campus. It's a beautiful theater! You can find all the information you need here. Tickets range from $10 - $24. The show ends March 23rd, so go see it soon!!

...but if you go with your parents, be prepared to suffer the consequences. Last night all the could talk about was Biff and Willy. This morning my dad said I looked like I had a hangover (which, when I just wake up that is probably the worst possible thing to say to me or I'll be angry at you the whole day, keep that in mind Chris) because of Death of a Salesman. My parents are weird. But I love them! They really are the best parents ever! Why else would I be living with them at twenty-two? :)

Month of Gratitude: Day 21

I am very grateful my parents got our family tickets to see Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight! They are so incredible! What a fantastic show!!

I public apologize to all those who were sitting around me seeing as I was coughing a lot tonight... I'm sorry if I disrupted the awesomeness for you. It certain wasn't fun for me.

One thing I'm not grateful for... the weird ocean noises I'm hearing in my left ear. Trans Siberian Orchestra, as much as I love you, if you got me deaf I will never forgive you for it.

TSO- Wizards of Winter, this is one of my favorites by them and I love this Christmas display!

I grew up dancing in Ballet West's Nutcracker and my studio's Nutcracker every year from the age of 4 till 13. I have a love of The Nutcracker and this song is just so amazing to me!

They ended with this song so I will too! This is my mom's favorite and one of their very best in my opinion!

Celebrate America Show: In The Miller Mood - USO Style

So last night I got a ride up to Logan to attend the Celebrate America Show with my wonderful boyfriend. This is put on every year in the Taggart Student Center at Utah State University. This was the first time I've ever gone, but I loved it!

So the Celebrate America Show is put on by Brenda Anthony (who is a fun character) and her husband. It has a live band playing music from the WW2 era and there is a lot of singing and dancing. It's almost like watching a musical. It's so much fun to watch!

Members of my ballroom team were in it, so they got me free tickets and saved me seat in the very front row (thank you so so much Tiffany and Kyle!!!).
