As this is posted, I am currently on my way home from a roadtrip with my family. So I thought it would be fun to share with you the places I want to travel most in life.
Some of you may have seen my "American Journey" post in which I explained how I want to travel to each state in the US for a specific place and purpose. I have never given up on that goal, despite only have one state checked off (and it's not even the state I live in). But I do have other travel goals outside of the US. This list is about places both in and out of the US that are at the top of my wishlist.
New York City
I honestly cannot think of a time when I haven't wanted to visit New York. Even as a child, New York seemed like some magical place that I really wanted to visit. There are literally so many thing to visit and experience in New York and I want to be able to do it all!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Honestly, what human being my age who grew up with Harry Potter does not want to go here? It may not be a city, or landmark, but it's Harry Potter which represents something that made a big influence on my childhood. Harry Potter books, movies, pictures, and even just the mention of the name always seems to make me smile so this is a place I know I would enjoy.
London
This has been a more recent addition to my wishlist. I think in my younger years I didn't know much about London so I didn't really care. I loved British accents but the place didn't seem so exciting to me. However, in marrying a man who wants to move to the UK, and falling in love with BBC's Sherlock (it's not just love, it's an obsession), London has moved to the top of my list. I'm always fascinated in being in a place with old architecture and history and London has tons of that! It really is a beautiful place and I really hope someday Chris and I can go.
Scotland
If you've met my husband, you know his wish is to move to Scotland. He served his LDS mission in Scotland and is ridiculously in love with the place. But the more I learn about it, the more I am falling in love too. Also, as anyone who reads my blog should know, I'm in love with cows. And Scotland is home to my favorite type of cow, the highland cow. So for reals I just need to go there.
Canada
Umm.... I don't know the reason. I've just always wanted to go to Canada! Also, going off on a random tangent here, a few months ago Chris and I went through all the episodes of Breaking Bad (which is amazing). So when on Pinterest I sometimes look up funny things about Breaking Bad, and my current favorite is this:
Washington DC
This is one of those places just filled with history that interests me so much. DC and its surrounding areas have a lot of historical landmarks and buildings that I want to experience firsthand. I've always been mad at Chris that he got to go without me and I hope we can experience it together soon.
The Grand Canyon
A few years ago my parents took my brother to the Grand Canyon and I was upset I didn't get to go. I love nature and what God has given us in nature (this is why Yellowstone will forever be one of my favorite places). So the Grand Canyon is one of those places that I just know I need to visit someday.
Italy
This isn't at the top of my wishlist, but my ancestors on my dad's side came from Italy, so I've always been a little more interested in Italy than other European countries. In talking to Chris, he's also had a desire to visit Italy and the historical sites there, so maybe Italy will become a place we actually get to check off our list.

My Favorite Things About Fall! -Blogtober Day 3
Hey ya'll, I'm back for my third day of Blogtober. It is now officially autumn and it's my favorite time of year! So in today's post I'm going to simply tell you all the things I love most about fall. And it's a Saturday, so I'm sure you have more important/fun things to do then read a long list of my favorite things, so I'll keep this nice and short.
When the leaves change in the mountains and create beautiful colors
Pumpkin patches
Corn mazes
Halloween is the best holiday
My birthday is in autumn
Being able to wear boots all the time
Fall fashion is the absolute greatest
Sunshine and cooler nights
The crunch of stepping on fallen leaves
Colder weather is more of an excuse to stay in and snuggle
Hot chocolate
Insects are slowly disappearing from view
The anniversary of meeting Chris, our first kiss, and our engagement (not all the same year, ha ha)

Glasses And Flannel -Blogtober Day 2
There are a lot of crows near our apartment and in the first picture I was looking up at a crow as it made a noise I didn't know crows were capable of. Anyone who knows me well knows that birds terrify me, so you would think my face would be more scared, but the sound was so Jurassic Park-ish that I was just amazed by it.
I love glasses. Ever since my sister got glasses in elementary school I have wanted glasses. And yet, I am the only one in my family who does not need them (although I feel my job of staring at a computer all day has a been deteriorating my eyesight). So for years and years, even before it was a fad, I occasionally wore fake glasses because I wanted them so badly. I think I look good in them and they make me happy, although these ones are meant to help in sunlight, meaning they have an annoying yellowish tint and make looking at a computer screen painful, so I can't even wear these to work. So lame.
Last weekend I went to Ross and bought six shirts that were almost all flannel. They are so cute though and I can't wait to show you the rest of them, but heads up, you may get sick of seeing me in plaid. I also bought this boots that I'm notw in love with and the week before bought these leggings, but I am slightly disappointed by them. I bought them because my other leggings of this brand are ridiculously comfortable and stay in place. These ones are too tight, with not as comfortable fabric, and slide down too much. Oh well. They still look great.
Glasses: Claire's
Shirt: Ross
Leggings: June & Daisy
Boots: Ross
Heads up! I have a haul video coming up this month so you can see the other shirts I got from Ross last week! But for now, enjoy some other cute ones I found online:

Welcome to Blogtober 2015!
I'm sure you're all painfully aware of how little I have been blogging recently. It's a shame really. I do so much to get you all excited for upcoming things but then nothing actually comes. I don't want to make excuses... but I actually have a really good one. That you will be finding out about probably next week.
I was browsing through Pinterest like I do everyday and came across something called Blogtober. Now this was done on the blog Helene In Between (and possibly other blogs) last year, but in an attempt to kickstart my blog once more I'm doing it this year, not really caring if other blogs are doing it or not (I haven't done the research, I don't even know).
The whole idea is to blog every day for the month of October, which I'm sure you realize is going to be a huge struggle for me. I'm nervous that I'm going to forget or skip a day, but I'm trying really hard to plan this out so I get every day in. I'm hoping that in doing this I'll remember how much I really do love blogging and I can get back into the groove again.
Today's post is fairly boring, just explaining what Blogtober is about, but here's a brief look at what you should be seeing this month on my blog:

Today's post is fairly boring, just explaining what Blogtober is about, but here's a brief look at what you should be seeing this month on my blog:
- Fashion Friday posts
- Happy Tuesday posts
- Creating my Halloween costume
- Halloween decorating
- Fall activities
- Learning more about me
- And a special surprise
The Blogtober post I was inspired by had prompts for everyday of the month so I've been using tons of other blogs to inspire different blog posts for this month and I'm very excited to write up new things that will help all my new followers to learn more about me. While I'm not giving you prompts to do, I would love it if you would participate in Blogtober as well, just making an effort to blog daily in October.
I love all my readers and love that despite having been gone for so long, I still get new followers every month. You are all incredible and you inspire me with your sweet comments and the support you've always given me. This month is about showing my gratitude by giving you more to read from me every day. I love you all and hope you have a wonderful Blogtober!!
Feel free to join me on social media with the #Blogtober2015!
