Daycation in Pineview, Utah

Last Friday Chris and I spent most our time at Pineview Reservoir. We swam, ate wonderful food, and did a lot of searching for Pokemon. I forgot to take pictures the second day we were there, with  jet ski and paddle boards, but here are the pictures I did take from our "daycation."

My Travel Wishlist -Blogtober Day 4

As this is posted, I am currently on my way home from a roadtrip with my family. So I thought it would be fun to share with you the places I want to travel most in life.

Some of you may have seen my "American Journey" post in which I explained how I want to travel to each state in the US for a specific place and purpose. I have never given up on that goal, despite only have one state checked off (and it's not even the state I live in). But I do have other travel goals outside of the US. This list is about places both in and out of the US that are at the top of my wishlist.

New York City

I honestly cannot think of a time when I haven't wanted to visit New York. Even as a child, New York seemed like some magical place that I really wanted to visit. There are literally so many thing to visit and experience in New York and I want to be able to do it all!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Honestly, what human being my age who grew up with Harry Potter does not want to go here? It may not be a city, or landmark, but it's Harry Potter which represents something that made a big influence on my childhood. Harry Potter books, movies, pictures, and even just the mention of the name always seems to make me smile so this is a place I know I would enjoy.

London

This has been a more recent addition to my wishlist. I think in my younger years I didn't know much about London so I didn't really care. I loved British accents but the place didn't seem so exciting to me. However, in marrying a man who wants to move to the UK, and falling in love with BBC's Sherlock (it's not just love, it's an obsession), London has moved to the top of my list. I'm always fascinated in being in a place with old architecture and history and London has tons of that! It really is a beautiful place and I really hope someday Chris and I can go.

Scotland

If you've met my husband, you know his wish is to move to Scotland.  He served his LDS mission in Scotland and is ridiculously in love with the place. But the more I learn about it, the more I am falling in love too. Also, as anyone who reads my blog should know, I'm in love with cows. And Scotland is home to my favorite type of cow, the highland cow. So for reals I just need to go there.

Canada

Umm.... I don't know the reason. I've just always wanted to go to Canada! Also, going off on a random tangent here, a few months ago Chris and I went through all the episodes of Breaking Bad (which is amazing). So when on Pinterest I sometimes look up funny things about Breaking Bad, and my current favorite is this:

Washington DC

This is one of those places just filled with history that interests me so much. DC and its surrounding areas have a lot of historical landmarks and buildings that I want to experience firsthand. I've always been mad at Chris that he got to go without me and I hope we can experience it together soon.

The Grand Canyon

A few years ago my parents took my brother to the Grand Canyon and I was upset I didn't get to go. I love nature and what God has given us in nature (this is why Yellowstone will forever be one of my favorite places). So the Grand Canyon is one of those places that I just know I need to visit someday.

Italy

This isn't at the top of my wishlist, but my ancestors on my dad's side came from Italy, so I've always been a little more interested in Italy than other European countries. In talking to Chris, he's also had a desire to visit Italy and the historical sites there, so maybe Italy will become a place we actually get to check off our list.

St. George Trip

So it's apparently a tradition now that we go to St. George for President's Day weekend. Which is cool because for the past two years it means Valentine's Day and Chris's birthday as well. I absolutely love St. George, it's gorgeous and warm and for a long time I wanted to live there. The red rocks are gorgeous and amazing and I'm super upset I didn't get more/better pictures.

But here are the pictures I do have as well as a short fashion photo shoot at the end of what I wore on Valentine's Day. It wasn't a big deal for us, so I was super casual.

This picture was taken on the ride home. The line on the top right is a crack in the windshield. I'm the worst for forgetting to take a picture like this until we were leaving. I love red rock.

Our condo/hotel thing is in the weirdest place. You have to drive through a neighborhood and apartments to get there and the view from the balcony is this picture. A dry boring field. Where children like to shoot BB guns at each other. Apparently.

But the condo has basketball courts, two swimming pools, hot tubs, and fun games to play. We were able to swim, which made me super excited because I love swimming so much! We also played ping pong and pool with my in-laws and it was tons of fun.

This is our beautiful condo/hotel/timeshare thing. I forget what to call it. I love that there are palm trees. Palm trees are the coolest.

My incredible mother-in-law gave me two super cute Valentines. She is the sweetest as were the treats she gave me.

Chris and I didn't do much for Valentine's Day or his birthday. Later in the week after we were home I took Chris out to eat at one of his favorite restaurants in Logan, Indian Oven (which everyone should go to. It was really sad because we were the only ones in there and it's honestly so good and the people who work there are so nice, so if you live in Logan just go there!!!), and I gave him his birthday present:

Yep, I gave him an iPod. I spoil him. But he deserves it.

I spent most of the trip reading and finished my book a bit too fast, considering I only brought one. I was reading Eleanor & Park for my February Book Club book which if you haven't joined in already, you have one week left to read any love story of your choosing. I have a book planned for next month as well, which is a book my mom gave me months ago and I'm just getting around to reading it, so be prepared for Book Club again next month! Yay!

Now onto my fashion post!

Shirt: ???
Jeans: Walmart
Shoes: Kmart

Playgrounds are awesome. This was at the hotel and I had fun taking pictures and playing on it. My hair turned out super curly and awesome on Valentine's Day and I wish I had better pictures of it because even Chris said it was amazing.

I'll have my normal widget of same or similar items at the very bottom of this post. But I have one last picture.

Being with my in-laws means seeing my favorite dog Max. While staying at the in-law's the night before going to St. George, Chris put a soccer jersey on Max and it was adorable... and barely fit him. But he's the cutest and best dog in the world.

The Places I'm Most Grateful For

I knew I wanted to make posts about the things and the people I was most grateful for, but I felt like I needed a third thing. As a joke I thought of places, because nouns are people, places, and things. But as I thought it over I realized that there are a few significant places that I am truly grateful for.

Jackson Hole -Anyone who knows me, knows that my family goes to Jackson Hole, Wyoming every year (because I talk about it frequently and I feel half my t-shirts say Jackson Hole or Yellowstone on them). I am honestly in love with that place. We go with my cousins and my grandma. It started out having my grandpa with us until he passed away and that was usually the only time I would get to see my grandpa that year, and I was always grateful to see him. My cousins from Washington used to go with us and it was so fun playing with them in the pool, hiking, or shopping together. Later they stopped coming and my cousin from Austria came and it was incredible to really get to know her because the distance had never really allowed it before. Now I bring my husband, the condos are more crowded, but it has and always will be my favorite place to go. There is so much to see and to do and being with family the whole time makes it even more incredible.

Utah State University -Since I was about fourteen I always knew I wanted to go to USU. I didn't even apply anywhere else, it was the only place I wanted to go. And while I sort of gave up on college and only got my associates, USU let me become a different person. I grew up at USU. I met my husband at USU. I learned a ton, not just in school, but I learned a ton about myself. I was two hours away from home with no car, essentially trapped up here, but being on my own was an incredible experience and gave me the confidence I had been lacking my whole life. I used to be so shy I never spoke to anyone and I believe that USU helped me to overcome that (sort of, I'm still pretty shy). I'm truly grateful for USU and I still believe that I was supposed to go here.

Eastridge 3rd Ward -I grew up in the same ward for most my life and the people there helped raise me. While I was too shy to speak to most of them, there were some that I allowed myself to get to know. My parent's neighborhood is filled with people who, despite having moved away, still love me and care for me. When I go visit my parent's ward they all come up to me and let me know how happy they are to see me. They care about my life and what I'm doing. I am so grateful that I grew up in the neighborhood I did. It changed my life and I am grateful for it.

My Parent's House -I still call it my house all the time because it's where I lived the longest. I love my home. I love the city it's in. I love the atmosphere around it. I love the neighborhood. I love the surrounding mountains (actually I'm more obsessed with said mountains). I love everything about that home. And while things keep changing, new carpet, my grandma moving into my old bedroom, new furniture, etc. It will always be a home to me and I love that place more than anything.

Temples -I was married in the Draper, Utah LDS Temple and that was quite possibly the greatest day of my entire life. When I was in high school the Draper temple was being built and I was chosen to sing in a youth choir for the dedication. When the day came, we stood on stands outside the temple, sang our songs, and watched as President Thomas S. Monson dedicated the cornerstone of the temple. It was by far, one of the most incredible experiences of my life to be there watching it happen and to participate as well. Later the valley put on a big show to celebrate the Draper and the Oquirrh Mountain temples and I sang in the choir there as well. These two events changes my perspective on temples. I am truly in love with temples, especially the Draper one, because of the experiences I've had, the feeling it give me, and for the love I feel inside of them.

Why I'm Pumped for July!

It's July!! Yay!! I typically say that May is my favorite month but I think July is a close second, but the Christmas season and my birthday are other favorites. Anyways July is always such a great month and here's why I'm so excited!!

-Independence Day. This is honestly one of my favorite holidays. Call me crazy or pathetic if you want but every Forth of July during a good firework show listening to the great songs about our country I tend to tear up, because I truly love being an American! I love this incredible nation I get to call home and I love being able to celebrate it! I don't know yet what we're doing and I'm super upset I have to work most the day, but I'm still excited nonetheless. And I bought a really awesome outfit for that day.

-Cow Appreciation Day. If you know me and/or this blog, you know I love cows. I love celebrating Cow Appreciation Day and am so happy to have a husband who allows me to celebrate it without thinking I'm a weirdo. Ha ha. This year Cow Appreciation Day lands on July 11th, and I still think it's weird it's a different day every year. Anyways, every year I dress in black and white, wear my cow necklace and earrings, eat ice cream (to appreciate the great product cows help produce), and take pictures with cows. This year I might not get to see cows though. I don't know where to find them here and Chris and I both work most the day, so I won't even see Chris. :( Also, if you dress up like a cow then you can go to Chick-Fil-A and get a free meal! I would wear my footie pajamas and my cow hat but I think both are in our storage unit in Logan. Bummer.

-My Family is Coming!!!! Much more importantly, on Cow Appreciation Day my mom, sister, brother, and grandma are flying to Texas to visit me!! I'm so insanely excited to see them!! My family is really close and I typically see them a lot so living in Texas is kind of difficult being so far away from them. But they wanted to come see me and we're going to Sea World, visiting the River Walk and finding lots of other fun things to do. I'm super excited and cannot wait!!!

-Pioneer Day. Texas doesn't celebrate Pioneer Day, but for the longest time Pioneer Day was my favorite holiday! I spent it every year sleeping on the side of the road downtown SLC to save our spot for the parade with my best friend, Lauren, and her family. It was the absolute greatest!! Even when I wasn't with Lauren there were at least still firework shows. But Texas won't have fireworks on Pioneer Day and I'm sad. Maybe we'll have to buy some and have our own firework show!! And Lauren, next Pioneer Day we totally need to do something together!

-In Laws Coming!!! My in-laws are coming to Texas as well!! But my husband doesn't tell me anything so I don't actually know when. Ha. So my brother-in-law Sheldon was actually supposed to be here the whole summer working with Chris selling pest control, but he had to stay in Idaho for school so he's not coming until the end of this month. Chris is both really upset Sheldon didn't come sooner, but also super excited for him to be coming later. We miss him. We also miss my in-laws and they are coming to visit! It'll be a good month having both sides of the family coming to visit us! We'll have to do lots of fun things!

-Summer Fun. I think the reason July is my second favorite month is because it's when it officially feels like summer, and summer is the greatest!! Also at the end of July my family always goes on our annual trip to Jackson Hole and it's the greatest! This year we don't get to go to Jackson Hole, which is something I've done with my family every summer for as long as I can remember. It'll be really weird not going and Chris and I are both really upset we can't go, but we're going to make sure next year in Jackson will be the best year ever!!

...So now that I think about it, technically maybe I should not be so pumped for this July. I mean, I'm working Independence Day and Cow Appreciation Day, I know after seeing my family for a weekend I'll only miss them more once they leave, Pioneer Day doesn't exist here, and I don't get to go to Jackson Hole... Yeah...Maybe this July actually will be horrible.

Regardless, I am excited for this new month and all the excitement it will surely bring! This is our last full month in Texas! What?!?! I'll be excited in August when we get to go back home, for sure! We won't be leaving till the end of August, right before school starts, but I'm already missing Utah, even though I love the warmth and having a pool. Texas is fun but I think I'm more of a Utah girl. We'll see though...

What fun things are you doing in July? Let me know it the comments below!

Riding on a Bus: CVTD

While it wasn't originally included on The Cache Valley Checklist, I realized this is something that needed to be added. Sure the list is mostly just fun things to do in Logan, but I also created it as a way for me to become more of a "Loganite". And what better way to become a "Loganite" than by riding on the bus?

I've ridden on the CVTD before because in my four years of living in Logan I've never had a car for more than a couple months. I sort of have one now but my husband and I share it and since he's a pizza delivery driver he's pretty much in charge of it and I don't get to drive that much (which is a real shame because I love driving).

This Monday I had to take the bus to work because Chris was down in Kaysville and Provo for the day. So I went onto the CVTD website, found the nearest stop, learned when it would arrive and planned out my trip with a transfer at the transit station.

I grew up in the Salt Lake area and I'm in love with Trax and even Front Runner, but I do not like the bus system down there. One time I was taking a bus to Provo to stay with my sister for the weekend and the bus got a flat tire on the freeway and we were stuck. On the side of the freeway. For about 30 minutes until the next bus stopped and picked us up. But parked oddly far so I had to walk with my bags on the side of the freeway with the strange bunch of bus riders to get to the other bus. Yeah... good times?

But the bus system in Cache Valley is absolutely amazing! First of all, IT'S FREE. Yep, you can just hop on any bus and ride all the buses all around Logan for a day and never pay a cent (well technically you do with taxes, but whatever, it's still totally worth it). In my experience I've seen school kids hop on these city buses to get home from school.

These buses feel very safe and clean. These buses go all over Cache Valley and they are extremely helpful. They go everywhere! The drivers are nice and it's overall a really good experience. I think more college students need to take advantage of these buses instead of driving everywhere. There are two buses that go straight to campus and I feel not as many students that could use them do, myself included. Because I work on campus, so if I can take the bus to get to work why do I never take the (free) bus to school??? (Maybe because with the transfer it takes a half hour...)

Monday's experience was fun because this weird kid asked me "What's your ancestry?" Which is a weird question to randomly ask a stranger. He later asked "How long have you had that ring on your finger?" Which was also a weird question but I'm glad he was able to get the hint I was taken.

I think the CVTD is fantastic and definitely helps you to become a true Loganite! More people should take advantage of this amazing bus system!

February Review

What? February's over? What is going on here??? I'm sorry but these last two months just flew by and weren't very good for me, so if this is any indication of how the rest of the year will go for me, I'm not looking forward to it.

Anyways, let's step into my brief review of February. Because nothing monumental happened, I'm just making a quick list of events. You can click on the links to read about them from any existing blog posts.

  • I struggled in school.
  • I signed up for a 5k.
  • I complained about not having a smartphone.
  • I got a smartphone
  • I got humiliated at school.
  • Suddenly it was Valentines Day.
  • I learned I probably have Social Anxiety Disorder.
  • I went to St. George.
  • We celebrated my husband's 25th birthday
  • We made a huge decision for this summer.
  • I got sick again
  • I had to give a presentation in school.
  • I continued to struggle in school
  • I announced we're moving to Texas
  • I started my fashion posts on this blog.
  • And tonight I'm seeing Brian Reagan (and I'll write about it later).
I don't understand why this year isn't going well for me. If you have any advice, please let me know!

Now onto reviewing my New Years Resolutions to see how well I've been doing on them. You can read more about my resolutions for 2014 by CLICKING HERE

[To gain 100 blog followers] When I add up the followers from my five social media outlets (GFC, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram) I get over 150 followers!!! However, I wanted this goal to be more centered towards a single outlet. Facebook, for example. If I get 100 likes on Facebook this year I'll feel like I've fully accomplished this goal. I'm not saying I'm not happy with my current state, because I totally am, but I just want to branch out more.

[To run a 5k] As I said earlier in this post, I signed up for a 5k! I am super excited for it! It's the Color Vibe in Cache Valley and I'm doing it with my family so it will be tons of fun. I would love to see my blog followers there as well, so don't forget to sign up and I'll see you there! (Read my full post HERE) I wrote this section before the whole Texas thing. Because we will be in Texas we won't be doing the Color Vibe in Cache Valley, but we'll try to find something in Texas or do something here when we get back. I'm upset I can no longer do the run, but I'm excited for Texas!

[To get six pack abs] Not yet, but I've been using the My Fitness Pal app to keep track of my calorie intake. The last time I used this (with an additional diet) I lost eight pounds! So with this app and training for my 5k, I'm sure my six pack will be here soon!

[To improve my math skills] I haven't worked on this one at all yet. To be honest, I'm scared to because I have such a horrible history with math, but it's something I have to do for my resolution, for my major, and for my future career.

[To make school more of a priority] I don't know if I've done this. I spend a lot of time on campus and I've been doing my assignments, but I don't know if I'd consider it my main priority right now, so there is still work to do.

[To eat healthier] Major failing here. However, with My Fitness Pal I know I'm not eating too many calories. I eat awful things like pizza and cookies all the time, but I don't go over my calorie intake goal. So that's a start, I guess...

[To save up more money] Next month my husband and I are doing a "Money Free March", we are going to try to spend no money except for bills, fuel, and groceries. We eat out way too much and we both like to shop so next month we are going to stop and take a break and see how much money we can save up. I'm planning on writing blog posts about it and I'll tell you how it goes.

[To not procrastinate] I don't think I'm doing very well at this one. I tend to wait to do my assignments until the last minute. (Because why write an essay when I could be working on my blog?) So I'm a procrastinator and being a horrible one at that by procrastinating at this particular New Years Resolution. Fail.

[To read more] The only things I've been reading lately are my school books and Sparknotes for when I don't read my school books. This semester I really don't have the time to read for fun so this goal (along with my Book Club) will have to wait.

[To pray and read my scriptures everyday] Once you get out of a habit, it can be so hard to get back into it. In high school I was so good at praying every night. I've never been good at reading my scriptures though. But I really want to work harder at this, I'm just trying to get back into it.

February Favorites

I very last minute decided to do a Monthly Favorites post for this month so it is very haphazardly thrown together and it's kind of short. But it's been a while since I did one and I've been wanting to start doing it again so why not now?

FAVORITE BLOG: A+ Life

I don't remember how I found this blog this month but I started reading and knew I would always, always, always keep reading. There are very few blogs out there that are so beautifully well written that you can't stop reading and this blog is becoming an inspiration for my own. I want my readers to never stop reading. It's a work in progress though.

FAVORITE SNACK: Brach's Conversation Hearts

And it has to be this brand and look like this. And preferable it's the larger size. Brach's hearts are so much softer than other brands that for me, who has this fear of biting into hard things, I can enjoy them like a normal person. I ate two bags of the large ones and one bag of the small ones. Good thing they only come around once a year!

FAVORITE TELEVISION SHOW: New Girl

I had seen a few episodes before, but this month I found three seasons on Netflix and have been majorly binge-watching!!! I'm obsessed. This show is so funny and great and it just makes me so happy! And yay for me for having a husband who tolerates me watching it all the time.

FAVORITE MOVIE: The Lego Movie

My husband and I have seen it twice and we're obsessed. It's so funny and happy and we just love it so much!! (Random Tangent: I was editing a paper and it was really bothering me that she said "and" multiple times in a sentence, but as I'm writing this I realize I do it too sometimes, but never in a school paper, but am I still a bad person for doing it?) Go see The Lego Movie!!!

FAVORITE/ MOST POPULAR BLOG POST: I Hate College

FYI, this category is not determined by me. I base it on which post that I've written this month has had the most page views, and I Hate College is the winner. This post now has a follow-up post FOUND HERE. This post was written in anger but it's sadly incredibly truthful. Again, I haven't made a final decision yet, I do still appreciate your comments and suggestions, they are very helpful and I am super grateful.

My I'm Moving to Texas post was a close second and worth mentioning because some people still don't know about this drastic change in my life that I keep waking up having nightmares about moving. Since our move less that three months ago was kind of a disaster with packing up our stuff, I'm so stressed about a more serious move like this.

FAVORITE EVENT: My St. George Trip

It was so incredibly fun to leave the cold and go to St. George. I seriously love St. George and always wanted to live down there. I loved being able to swim and to explore and to eat good food! It was so great celebrating my AMAZING husband's birthday and it was just a fantastic trip!

Tonight we're seeing Brian Reagan! But I don't think that will top the St. George trip... we'll see...

What were your favorite things this month? Leave a comment and let me know! Visit my blog later today for my February Review!
THANKS FOR READING!!

My Trip to St. George

For this post I'm starting at the very beginning, which means Valentine's Day morning. It all began with me waking up and getting ready like it was a normal day, because at the time it was. I've never been a fan of Valentine's Day so the fact that it was February 14th didn't faze me (except that I was happy for my parents because it's their anniversary).

When my husband woke up he hurried and got ready and we decided to head to Kneaders for French Toast. I was super excited because I've been wanting Kneaders French toast since forever but things always come up and we could never get there in time for breakfast. But this time we did and it was delicious!!

P.S. All the pictures were taken with my new phone and are shaped weird, but they honestly turn out better than if I take them with my camera.

Then I had class to get to and Chris went off to go find my Valentine's Day gifts, which included beautiful earrings, chocolate covered strawberries and a super cute card! It was simple, but honestly, we both knew we were going to St. George and we're trying to save up our money so it was perfect.

After class Chris went and got his new driver's license because he's 25 and old now. Then we ate at Carl's Jr. and started driving through the snowy canyon to my in-law's house.

Ugh! Worst picture ever! And why is it a different size? I don't get it!

Once at my in-laws, we transferred all our stuff to their car and we took of for St. George!! I was super excited to get away from the stress of school and just relax! On the way there we stopped at a gas station/petting zoo where I found a souvenir with my name spelled right!!! It's honestly a rare occurrence.

We arrived in St. George late that night and we visited Chris's Grandma Joyce before heading to our hotel (which was beautiful and amazing). We fell asleep soon after in the most amazing bed and now I really want pillows like that...

The next day was MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY!!!! We woke up, ate pancakes and bacon and went off to the soccer tournament! My father-in-law coaches a team of twelve-year-olds that were playing in the tournament. While there, I ran into my best friend! Her dad is a soccer ref and he was down there for the tournament and I got to talk with my best friend Lauren and her mom, which was so wonderful! I miss them so much! They are seriously like a second family to me.

After soccer we went bowling! And I sucked!! I seriously don't think I've ever done that badly before! However I think I know why. Friday in class we learned about Social Anxiety Disorder and they gave us a mini-test to see if we had it and... yeah... there's a very great chance I have it. And looking back on my life I realize just how much I really do probably have this. I don't know what it means for my future, but I suppose it's a good thing I finally figured it out. Anyways, while bowling I feel incredibly anxious and stressed because I don't like being put in the spotlight, so when I go up and bowl and they all either cheer for me or say "oh, that's alright", I get this tension throughout my body because I don't want to be the center of attention. It's always happened, but I never knew it was a part of Social Anxiety Disorder. When I'm bowling with just Chris, I don't feel that pressure because I'm so in love with him and everything is comfortable and different around him, but apparently when I'm with other people I suck at bowling.

Pinterest Sunday: DIY, Foods, Neon, Cruel, Disney, Pink, Pinwheel, Roadtrip, Scriptures, Disney Parks, and Phoebe

This week I've pinned a ridiculous amount of clothing/fashion pins because I just want to shop and I'm so sick of my current wardrobe.... but I am going to save most of those pins for a Fashion Friday post this week. So stay tuned for all of those and I hope you enjoy this Pinterest Sunday post!

As one of his Christmas presents, I promised my husband I would make a board/frame thing for the pictures of fish he catches. I had a pretty good idea in mind but then I saw this and knew I have to do this! But I could use like fishing wire and hooks! It'll be great! Stay tuned for a tutorial and video on it when I finally get around to making it.

New Year, new me. I'm trying to lose one pound a week up  until my one year anniversary, because then I'll be at my wedding weight (yes I strayed that far off in the last 8 months). So I'm always looking for healthy foods and ways to lose weight.

P.S. -I am already behind. I got sick so I didn't go to the gym at all last week and we still have tons of left over candy from Christmas (I have a theory that Santa gives us all so much candy so he doesn't feel as overweight himself) but this week I'll be starting a new routine (even though I still feel sick) and I'll be writing about it on here soon.

Pinterest Sunday: Shirt, Money, Rebel, Glitter, Memento, Olaf, Hair, Psych, Motivation, Leggings, Red, Travel, Map, and Shrek

I don't really have an introduction for this post today. It's just another one of my Pinterest Sunday posts. But I hope you enjoy it!

This shirt is super cute! I've never been a fan of long sleeves. I'm wearing one right now and I have the sleeves rolled up because I just can't handle sleeves, I don't know why. So I'm not sure if this shirt would actually be practical for me but I think it's super cute.

I really love this list! It has a ton of really great ideas to cut spending, which I always need.

Is there anyone who doesn't like Rebel Wilson? She's so awesome! And I love Ellen so much as well. Best pin I've ever pinned. ;)

Umm, I super need this! I have a glitter obsession and I just want to glitter-ize everything!

I'm not a scrapbooker but I love to keep mementos from all my trips and general outings. I want to start doing this with all the fun things my husband and I do together.

Pinterest Sunday: Hacks, Sewing, Dance, Ellen, Band, Books, Christmas, Pizza, Jeans, Declutter, London, Pallet, Wish, Octopus, and Date

Introduction... I can't think of a good introduction... Oh! I'm so excited that I'm almost to 30,000 page views!! Please share this post with all your friends so we can reach our goal! Thanks!

I'm always interested in ways to make my beauty routine easier or different. I really liked this article. I'm just obsessed with BuzzFeed...

I really want a sewing machine. I have so many Pinterest crafts that I want to do but can't because of the lack of sewing machine. I suppose it's fine, I mean I can hardly find time to read for Book Club so how would I find time to sew? But someday I'll get a sewing machine and this article will be very helpful to me.

I just want to dance again. I miss it so much!

It's no secret on this blog that I love Ellen Degeneres. I think she is fantastic and hilarious.

I'll be honest, I don't know if I fully understand this picture. But I'll accept it. A dinosaur band? I like it.

What a way to draw someones attention. Who doesn't want to be smarter, more attractive and more interesting? So we will definitely be looking at these books for Book Club in the future. If there is one in particular that you want to read, just go to the Book Club page and leave a comment to vote for it!

I love the look of this bookshelf for either my future home or even my future classroom. The blog that posted this put it in her child's nursery and it looks so cute! You can check it out by CLICKING HERE

When I was little I used to wear our tree skirt around the house around Christmas time, but I don't think it would fit me anymore. However, I think this is genius and I could figure out a way to make this work for me! I love the way this looks so I'm really considering it for my Christmas attire. Except...
