Fashion Friday: My Makeup Essentials

For me, makeup, hair and fashion all go hand in hand. So I apologize if you were looking forward to something about clothes or shopping, but this post is all about makeup. Mainly, the makeup I cannot live without. So let's dive right in.

NOTE: I am not a makeup "guru" or expert in anyway, I'm just showing the products that I love that work best for me.

This is me. I apologize for two reasons: 1. My camera sucks, especially as of recently. I noticed a smudge on the lens a week ago that cause all my pictures to be blurry in the center, but when I cleaned it, I think I just spread it around more. Or it just sucks. And 2. I was having one of these moments:

But I don't really apologize for the second one, because I like the way I am. 

Anyways, the picture was to show my usual makeup (and apparently how puffy my cheeks are, holy cow...)

Here are my essential products:

This is a great foundation, in my opinion. It leaves your skin smooth and flawless! It does leave a bit of a shine to it though, which I know some people don't like, but I can usually get rid of the shine with my bronser or other powder foundations. 

I just got this, I've only been using it a week, but OH MY GOSH!!! It's perfect!!! I have horrible horrible dark circles under my eyes, all the time. This stuff works incredibly to erase them! What's best is that it blends perfectly! Today I was too lazy to do tons of makeup so I just used this on a few spots and it worked like a charm at covering any imperfections, and most important for me, for getting rid off my under eye baggage. I love this stuff! I highly recommend it! (Sorry the picture is so blurry! I'm so angry at my camera right now!)

This is also for my under eyes. This stuff gets rid of the puffiness and works wonderfully! I love it! I've also used this on a pimple and it reduced the swelling on that too, so this stuff is really good. 

I get so annoyed with mascaras, but I'm in love with this one by Maybelline! I love the way it makes my eyelashes look and I love how it leaves them soft, instead of crusty and hard. I love this mascara! Here's a close up on my eye makeup:

That looks so weird to me, but see how full my natural eyelashes look with this mascara? I love it! We'll get to the liner in a minute. Also, I need new bronser, because as you can see under my eye, mine has much too much glitter, and it gets everywhere. So if you have any good ones, please let me know in the comments!

I love Clinique Chubby Sticks!! This color is Super Strawberry and I absolutely love it! But I like many of their other colors as well. Its the perfect way to apply some color to the lips. I know there is a drugstore brand of something like this, and I'm going to check it out soon. I'll let you know how it works. :) 

I know you can't read it, but this is NYX Liquid Liner. I always uses this stuff to line my upper lashes and I'm in love with this stuff! It works so well and even with my incredibly shaky hand, it's easy for me to apply and get a good looking line. I love it. They also have many colors, but mine is a dark gray. 

I usually use a pencil, crayon, or gel crayon liner on my bottom lashes, but I haven't found one that really stands out to me yet. I do like the Ulta ones, but I'm still looking for one I'm in love with.
